ARTIST STATEMENT

In my art, I chose to portray scenes and objects that revolve around the theme of community and celebrate the people who come from a similar background as I do. The reason I do this is to display them with dignity as many of those who are cast aside by mainstream society are often left voiceless. My art is meant to give them a voice and show the beauty that comes with it.
